JUAN FOR ALL, ALL FOR JUAN!

Every individual acts for the benefit of the group, and the group should act for the benefit of every individual.

Super Typhoon Carina struck the Philippines on July 24, causing significant devastation to Metro Manila and affecting over 500,000 people. The typhoon left many without power and damaged crucial infrastructure. The storm’s impact was widespread, destroying homes, schools, hospitals, and essential facilities. In response, the Philippine government has declared a state of calamity in affected areas, allowing for the swift allocation of emergency funds and resources.

Fifty-one of our employees were directly impacted by the devastating super typhoon. In response to this tragedy, we took immediate action by organizing a company-wide donation drive to support those in need.

With the company’s headquarters also contributing to the relief efforts, they demonstrated their commitment to our employees and supplemented the assistance and resources that will be provided to the affected employees.

SALAMAT, BAYANI-JUAN
“Tunay kayong mga bayani sa panahong kailangan ng BayaniJuan.”

A bounty of canned goods, instant noodles, coffee, clothing, and rice was collected, which we subsequently allocated and delivered to the affected individuals, providing them with vital necessities. The prepared aid will be distributed by the HR Team and Ms. Agnes, Head of Operations, to the affected employees.

A show of unity and gratitude was evident as everyone happily accepted help from their fellow employees, as well as from the company and headquarters.

We would like to extend our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came together to support our colleagues who were affected by the typhoon.

We are especially grateful for the Juanhand Cares program, which was instrumental in coordinating the relief efforts, and for the team that worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen. We also want to acknowledge our colleagues, who went above and beyond to assist those in need.

Additionally, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to Jaden, Spring, Ying, Cecily, Miya, Ranee, Joseph, Hellen, Melody, Larry and Kelly who gave support all the way from China, for their extended help and guidance. Your compassion and concern have made a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by the typhoon.

As emphasized, “Tunay kayong mga bayani sa panahong kailangan ng BayaniJuan” – You are true heroes at a time when Heroism is needed.
